This page (together with the documents referred to on it) tells you the terms of use on which you may make use of our website www.lawskills.co.uk (our site), whether as a guest or a registered user. Information About Us

www.lawskills.co.uk is a site operated by LawSkills Limited (“We”). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 03890302 and have our registered office at Rose Cottage, Woodman Lane, Sparsholt, Winchester, Hampshire, SO21 2NS. This is also our main trading address. Our VAT number is 730 4931 50.

Accessing Our Site

Access to our site is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend any service(s) we provide on our site without notice (see below). We will not be liable if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

Access to some parts of our site, or to our entire site, or to services available on our site, may from time to time be restricted to registered users, or to one or more of the three levels of registered users:

General access to free resources, articles, blog and training booking information will be available free of charge and is necessary should you wish to subscribe for our free e-newsletter or view for one day only, blog posts and articles in full or any free resources.  It does not give you access to any material on sale in our Web Shop.

Subscribing for our Monthly Digest will provide you with a 1-year subscription to our Monthly Digest as an individual. Organisations which subscribe do so for a nominated number of persons. Each nominated person will be entitled to a one year subscription to our Monthly Digest

Registration is personal to each individual or nominated person. You must not allow other persons (even your colleagues) to use your registration details to access the Monthly Digest or the information contained in them. Anyone wishing to access such restricted areas or information must register as a subscriber to the Monthly Digest.

Web Shop products include Wednesday Webinars. When you purchase material from the Web Shop you will be provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures. You must treat such information as confidential, and you must not disclose it to any third party. We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.

You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to our site. You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our site through your internet connection are aware of these terms, and that they comply with them.

You are advised that access to the site will be monitored and that any breach of these terms by you, or by third parties connected to you, will be apparent to us. We will not tolerate breaches of these terms and we will pursue an appropriate course of action where any such breaches are committed, including terminating your access to the site.

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published on it or available from it. Permission is granted to temporarily print off one copy, and  download materials from our site for your personal non-commercial reference and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to material posted on our site. Information About You And Visits To Our Site

When you decide to purchase a subscription to our site, take tests using a third party site for the purposes of enhancing CPD training, opt-in to our email mailing list we process information about you, which will include some or all of the following your name, your email address, your telephone number, the name and address of your firm, and your SRA (or other authorising body) number. We may also process your credit card details using secure third party merchant services and payment gateway services which are Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards compliant as is LawSkills Limited . By using our site, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

Our site uses session based cookies which enables LawSkills website to identify you if you are a subscriber to the website.  This means a user can easily view the website without the need for the site to request permission from the user for each subscription-only web page that is visited.  This is done to enhance the user experience of the site.

We do not collect email addresses directly except when a user consciously opts in to receive email newsletters.

Cookies are also available to us by means of Google Analytics and other analytical sites which are used by LawSkills to improve LawSkills website content, navigation and design.  No intrusive or personal information is collected.

Transactions Concluded Through Our Site

Viruses, Hacking And Other Offences
