Keyboard Shortcuts for Word

Hold Ctrl key down and press …
X CUT – Removes selected area from a document , placing it on the clipboard
C COPY – Copies selected text/item  to the clipboard
V PASTE – Inserts content of clipboard where cursor is located
N Opens a new Word document
O Opens a pre-existing Word document
W Closes document, does NOT exit Word
S Saves active document
A Selects all text and graphics
F Launches the Find & Replace facility
B Makes selected text BOLD or removes bold formatting
I Makes selected text ITALIC or removes italic formatting
U Makes selected text Underlined or removes underlining
