Keyboard Shortcuts for Word
| Hold Ctrl key down and press ... | |
| X | CUT - Removes selected area from a document , placing it on the clipboard |
| C | COPY - Copies selected text/item to the clipboard |
| V | PASTE - Inserts content of clipboard where cursor is located |
| N | Opens a new Word document |
| O | Opens a pre-existing Word document |
| W | Closes document, does NOT exit Word |
| S | Saves active document |
| A | Selects all text and graphics |
| F | Launches the Find & Replace facility |
| B | Makes selected text BOLD or removes bold formatting |
| I | Makes selected text ITALIC or removes italic formatting |
| U | Makes selected text Underlined or removes underlining |
